Chuck McMullen, III

Overview

Chuck McMullen has spent more than 25 years building deep political and business networks and a reputation for managing complex legislative issues at all levels of government.

Serving clients in Georgia and around the country, Chuck specializes in managing government relations for public and private sector clients in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, food and beverage, and energy infrastructure industries. He leverages strategic relationships and public policy expertise to maximize legislative results at local, regional, and national levels.

Career Highlights

Prior to forming MCO Group, Chuck was a Principal at Parker Poe Consulting and a senior director in Atlanta for two international law firms, serving as the state government affairs team lead and practice group leader, respectively.

 

He previously worked in Washington, D.C., as a regional political director for the American Medical Association, responsible for 127 congressional districts in the Southeast and Southwest. In addition, he served as chief of staff to Tom Price, former congressman and U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary, when he was Georgia’s first Republican majority leader of the state Senate.

Recognition/Affiliations

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution named Chuck a top player in the Georgia legislature. He has been recognized by James magazine as a top male lobbyist and received the President Award from the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians.

 

Chuck is deeply involved in the Georgia community, serving on the state Chamber of Commerce’s board of governors and the Georgia Charitable Care Network’s board of directors.
